Text Box: Practice development and business success will be the watch-words for the STC Spring 2006 Conference, which will be held April 20-22 in the trendy Buckhead area of Atlanta, at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta.
By design, the planners for this conference have arranged a pro-gram schedule that will include two 90-minute sessions and a 75-minute session, all focusing on case studies.
Feedback from recent confer-ence attendees indicates that ses-sions of this sort are most requested.
It’s About Networking
Networking among consultants, end users and vendors lies at the heart of STC Conferences.
Two structured networking ses-sions with VAC representatives are planned for this conference, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on Friday, and from 11:30 to 1 PM on Saturday.
Outside these formal sessions, however, there are usually other opportunities to meet and socialize with VAC representatives, including unscheduled, impromptu ventures to experience the local nightlife scene.
In fact, a get-together for everyone is already planned for Friday evening, beginning at 7:30. For many attendees, however, these gatherings only mark the beginning of extended evening excursions.
The Dates
The conference will begin on Thursday morning, April 20, with the Nate Mire Memorial Golf Tournament and the STC Tennis Tournament. The STC will hold its traditional welcome reception that evening, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
A locknote address from 4:15 to 5:00 PM on Saturday by Paul Johnson, a distinguished profes-sional speaker and expert on pro-ductivity and business development Text Box:
