Consulting Opportunities
Businesses regularly contact STC Headquarters for assistance in
finding qualified consulting support. All end users are provided
with a complete directory of STC members, including a brief biography
describing the individual and their practice expertise. These consulting
opportunities, along with their project requirements, are published
by email to our consultant members, regularly.
VAC
Contacts
STC Members also receive updated directories of our Vendor Advisory
Council (VAC), containing descriptions of their companies' products
and services. The directory lists contact information for up to
three, key representatives of the vendor's company.
Membership
Database
The STC can provide end users with downloadable member directory
files, suitable for a variety of database formats, that can be used
with their own software to search geographically, or through the
use of key words, for a consultant who meets their requirements.
Through the password-protected STC intranet, consultant members
can search for specific vendors or other consultants with whom to
form strategic alliances.
Marketing
Support
The STC is committed to enhancing awareness, of the value of the
Society and its members, in the industry. We exhibit and present
at select trade shows, increasing exposure to the end user community.
Consultants and representatives of our VAC distribute brochures
and promote the Society at industry shows.
An increasing
number of quality promotional opportunities are generated for our
members through public relations activities such as writing, speaking
engagements, quotes in articles written by industry journalists
and in articles written about the STC.
Members are
also able to leverage the STC affiliation in their own promotional
efforts such as Yellow Pages Group Advertising, where STC consultants
practicing in the same state may, in accord with STC guidelines,
jointly place an ad in their local Yellow Pages Directory featuring
the STC logo. Member names are listed individually, thereby increasing
visibility and name recognition in their professional communities.
Use of the STC
Logo in connection with our members' names and the STC End User
Brochure for proposal packages, provides two additional ways for
STC members to cultivate their image and stand out from the crowd.
