Consultant
Membership
Five (5) project references since becoming independent (must be
from one (1) or more clients)
To qualify for consultant membership, affirmative responses must
be received from four out of five client project references.
Associate Consultant Membership
One (1) project reference and three (3) industry references
Industry references may include vendors, educators, end-users and
established Colleges and Universities.
Affiliate Membership - Not required (resume only)
Student Membership - A copy of the student's current full-time
course of study
Vendor Advisory Council (VAC) Membership - Not required
A letter will
be sent for signature to each of your references, along with a copy
of the STC Code of Ethics. Clients will be informed that you are
applying for STC membership and asked if they feel that you have
complied with the Code of Ethics during your client engagement.
We will also welcome their comments regarding your professional
relationship.
Vendor Advisory
Council (VAC) membership requires company brochure, application,
Code of Ethics and $50 nonrefundable application fee only.
Applicants
will be posted for 4 weeks on the Internet for review by the membership.
The posting begins the Friday of the week in which the application
is received.
The Membership
Committee shall consider each application in closed session. The
Membership Committee shall notify the applicant if further information
is required.
Upon an affirmative
vote by the Membership Committee, passing the membership posting
period of 4 weeks, and return of appropriate references, STC Headquarters
will notify the new STC member in writing along with the initial
membership dues invoice.
